-
Wild Wonders is a hybrid homeschooling program on a working farm in Belgrade, Montana. Students come to the farm for hands-on, project-based academics and outdoor learning, and families continue the work at home on non-school days. We serve students from age 4 through 8th grade.
-
Students attend classes at the farm on their scheduled days each week. On-site time is spent on academic instruction, project-based learning, farm chores, and outdoor exploration. On off days, families continue learning at home using curriculum, resources, and guidance provided by our teachers. It's a partnership between school and home.

We use a project-based curriculum aligned with Montana's educational standards. Academic subjects are taught through hands-on projects built around a central theme, with math taught separately and differentiated by level. Our two-year PBL cycle ensures every student receives a complete, standards-aligned education regardless of which year they enter a grade band.

Yes. We value family involvement and welcome parents at special events, workshops, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The hybrid model itself is built on families being active participants in their child's education.

The Harvest Year is our 8th grade capstone program. After completing the K–7 curriculum, 8th graders spend their final year at Wild Wonders pursuing a self-directed project in a field they care about, with community involvement and a final presentation. It's the culmination of everything they've built during their time here.
