Local experts lead these area specific classes to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world by fostering critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Naturalist and Educator Ashley Martens guides students in this hands-on exploration of wild plants and raptor migration. Learn about the wonders of raptor ecology, adaptations, and migration as well as harvesting, preparing, tasting, and crafting with wild plants.

Come experience our project-based Middle School mini-series at Wild Wonders! Taught by Ms. Rochelle, our Middle School Teacher, these two series are designed for 5th-7th grade students. The curriculum covers all content areas and is delivered through engaging, hands-on projects. At the end of each series, students will demonstrate their knowledge using a modality of their choice and will be assessed with a rubric. These mini-series are a great educational addition for students who homeschool, participate in co-ops, or are part of hybrid homeschool programs!
